Topic: Rape in College Campuses
Deeply concerned about the demeaning societal myths and presumption that reveal the oppression and externalization of women and men caused by the usage of alcohol on campus and the superiority males desire to have over females.
Realizing that our society has become impervious to the issue of college rape because of lack of awareness.
Encouraging people, especially students, to be conscious of sexual assault in campuses in order to prevent it in the first place.
Affirming the obligations that colleges have to protect rape victims without targeting the victims themselves.
Stressing about my own safety when there has been evidence of 1 in 4 women in college today being the victim of rape; 90% of them knowing their rapist. 1
Taking into account that women should not have to be fearful about their surroundings and men's intentions in a campus setting, where safety is supposed to be a fundamental priority among all students.
Recommending particular actions to address the problems outlined above:

Recommending particular actions to address the problems outlined above:
- Acknowledge that we, as women, have individual strength, but together we are even stronger.
- We need to be knowledgeable about sexual assault and the difficulty that lies in our attempt to cease the societal myths that we have come to be familiar with.
- Recognize that the perpetrator is to blame, not the victim.
- Inform males in college that women are not objects - they are human.
- Celebrate the steps we have been achieving to comfort and assist each other in order to make college campuses less alarming.
