On September 2014, Aaron T. Parks, 17, was charged as an adult in the sexual assault, abduction, and armed robbery of a pregnant college student, according to the state's attorney. As the 24-year-old student was getting books from her car near the Chicago State University campus, she was threatened with a stake knife by the perpetrator. Even though the woman mentioned that she was pregnant and displayed her belly, he allegedly forced her to drive into an alley where seconds later, he raped her, stole $160, and locked her in the trunk of his car. However, she was able to escape using an interior release. Parks later admitted to the crime in a written statement after it was discovered that his fingerprints were found on the vehicle. 2
